Built in 1932, moved to higher ground in the 1970s, and lovingly revived from 2023–2025.
Nestled among the olive groves, the Dairy Cottage carries the kind of quiet character you can’t manufacture. It began life on the Coolmunda Dam flat in 1932, back when the land was worked by hand and the days moved slower.
When the dam waters rose in the 1970s, the cottage was carefully moved to higher ground, finding a new home on our family farm. It served as a small family home for years — until time crept in, and the cottage fell quiet.
In 2023, we started its next chapter. Not a reinvention — a restoration. The bones were strong and the old timber deserved keeping. We stripped it back, repaired what needed repair, and finished it with warmth, comfort, and calm.
